Alexander Sherman
Alexander Sherman is a Principal at Affinity Capital, and he is responsible for the asset sourcing, financial analysis and modeling, equity structure, investors relations, and oversees the daily operations. Alexander has a passion for real estate investments and ventures; and during his 18 years career, he has been personally involved in and led transaction for more than 1 billion.
Alexander founded Affinity International Realty in 2004, and it has become a highly successful real estate company, recognized in the local and international arenas. Before working in Real Estate, he held various positions in large multinational companies such as Citibank, British American Tobacco, and Clorox, where he worked in different areas like finance, marketing, and sales.
Alexander holds a Bachelor degree in Business Management and Finance from CESA School, where he graduated with honors in 2001, and has attended several Real Estate Seminars in prestigious schools. Alexander holds a Florida real estate license.
Jose Malabet
Jose Malabet is a Principal at Affinity Capital, and has been involved in real estate acquisitions and development for the past 20 years. His areas of expertise are in investment banking, real estate development and construction. Jose is responsible for all the multi-housing acquisition and disposition activities at the company, including the sourcing, negotiation, underwriting, and due diligence of transactions. He also plans, organizes, controls, supervises, and completes construction and property renovation projects of multifamily real estate assets and new development projects.
During his career, he has developed real estate projects totaling more than 250 units with another 550 units in the pre-development stages. He has also arranged financing for projects in excess of $150 million in loan and credit facilities.
Jose has an M.B.A. from La-Salle in Barcelona, Spain
